Lamp post Poppies

Our first idea was to put up Poppies on the lamp post down Middleton Road. It has taken sometime to track the lamp post poppies down and with the help from Chadderton District Team they managed to source some for us and E.on has very kindly put them up. Thank you to all the Businesses that have given a donation for the lamp post Poppies. We hope everyone appreciates them.

Schools Poppies

We wanted to get the Schools of Chadderton involved so Janet McLaren and Wendy Cockram visited seven schools and they loved our idea. We had a small amount of funding to provide the schools with the materials that they needed to make a Poppy. We have planted all the School Children’s Poppies outside Chadderton Town Hall, there are 1181 in the flower bed. These will be on display until 1st December 2018. |
