Walking is brilliant!

Walking is good for you because:
• It makes you feel good
• Exercise helps you to manage your weight
• It gives you more energy
• It reduces stress
• It keeps your heart strong and reduces blood pressure

Just thirty minutes walking each day is all it takes to make a difference. You can build up your walking ability over time. Start with say fifteen minutes of moderate activity and slowly build up your walking time. That’s all it takes to make a difference. The most important thing is to start where you’re comfortable and then build up gradually.
