Chadderton Together was formed in 2008 with the aim of bringing voluntary groups in Chadderton, together for mutual benefit. Groups attend meetings through their respective representatives who form the Committee. Support is given in fundraising, grant applications, writing constitutions and developing projects and events.
The Committee has raised over £100,000 which has been shared throughout the community to fund projects and activities. Chadderton Together has no political affiliations but does work with the District Executive, Area Manager, Oldham Council, Action Oldham and the Police who were instrumental in the initial foundation of Chadderton Together.
